Kathmandu — Tribhuvan University (TU) has been found to have committed extreme negligence in publishing results. While publishing the results of BSc third year, one student was shown to have scored only 4 marks.
However, dissatisfied with the result, the student applied to TU for 're-totaling'. After re-totaling, it was confirmed that the student had scored 44 marks, not 4. Currently, the student's result has been corrected.
This incident has raised serious questions about TU's examination and evaluation system. Such an error in results, which are tied to a student's future, can affect the credibility of the university.
