Stock market falls for second consecutive day, trading volume also declines
On Tuesday, the NEPSE index fell by 9.62 points to close at 2603.71. While 199 companies saw their share prices decline, 69 companies advanced, and trading volume also dropped.
For the second consecutive day this week, the NEPSE index has fallen. After declining the previous day, the market dropped by double digits again today.
When trading closed on Tuesday, the NEPSE index fell by 9.62 points to reach 2603.71. In today's stock market, 199 companies saw their share prices decline, while 69 companies advanced. Similarly, 10 companies remained unchanged today.
Likewise, the Sensitive Index also fell by 1.01 points to 466.65 today. Out of the 13 sub-indices in the stock market, 11 declined today, while two advanced.
Along with the index, trading volume also declined.
