Sri Lankan Captain Asalanka to Play NPL from Biratnagar
Biratnagar Kings have signed Sri Lanka's T20 captain Charith Asalanka for the third season of the NPL. The 29-year-old Asalanka has scored 1466 runs in 77 T20 internationals. The third edition of the NPL will be held from Kartik 9 to Mangsir 5.
Kathmandu — Biratnagar Kings have signed Sri Lanka's current T20 captain Charith Asalanka for the third season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL). The club made the official announcement of Asalanka's acquisition.
The 29-year-old Asalanka has scored 1466 runs in 77 T20 internationals for Sri Lanka. His signing is expected to strengthen Biratnagar's batting lineup.
Biratnagar, captained by Sandeep Lamichhane, already has the following domestic players under contract:

The third edition of the NPL will be held from Kartik 9 to Mangsir 5, i.e., October 26 to November 21.
