Siddhartha Bank Sets Book Closure Date, Shareholders on Record by Ashoj 16 to Receive Dividend
Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) has set Ashoj 16 as the book closure date for its annual general meeting. Shareholders on record by Ashoj 16 will receive a 10 percent bonus share and 10 percent cash dividend. The AGM will be held on Ashoj 28.
Kathmandu | Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) has fixed the date for closing its shareholders' register (Book Close) for the purpose of its Annual General Meeting (AGM).
According to a notice sent by the bank to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), it has decided to close the books for one day on Ashoj 16, 2083 BS.
As per the decision of the bank's Board of Directors, the Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Ashoj 28, 2083 BS (October 14, 2026). Since the shareholders' register will be closed on Ashoj 16 for this purpose, shareholders on record until the trading day immediately preceding the book closure will be eligible to participate in the AGM and receive the proposed dividend.
Siddhartha Bank has proposed a 10 percent bonus share and 10 percent cash dividend (including tax) for the fiscal year 2082/83. Additionally, a 8.25 percent cash dividend has been proposed for the bank's non-redeemable preference shareholders.
The bank has stated that the AGM will discuss and decide on proposals including the bank's financial statements and the appointment of auditors.
