Siddhartha Bank Announces Attractive Dividend: How Much Bonus and Cash?
Siddhartha Bank has announced a total dividend of 20 percent for fiscal year 2082/83. This includes 10 percent bonus shares and 10 percent cash dividend. Preference shareholders will receive an 8.5 percent cash dividend.
Kathmandu. Siddhartha Bank has announced an attractive dividend for fiscal year 2082/83.
The bank's board of directors, in a meeting held this morning, decided to distribute a total dividend of 20 percent to shareholders from the distributable profit of that fiscal year, based on the current paid-up capital of Rs 14 arba 79 crore 44 lakh 79 thousand 195.
This includes:
- 10 percent bonus shares equivalent to Rs 1 arba 47 crore 94 lakh 47 thousand 920
- 10 percent cash dividend (including tax) equivalent to Rs 1 arba 47 crore 94 lakh 47 thousand 920
Similarly, the bank has decided to distribute an 8.5 percent cash dividend (including tax) equivalent to Rs 10 crore 75 lakh 89 thousand 41 to preference shareholders.
The proposed dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming annual general meeting, the bank stated.
