Kathmandu — Siddhartha Bank has announced a total dividend of 20 percent from the previous fiscal year's profit. The bank's board of directors meeting held on Thursday approved the dividend.
Of the total announced dividend, 10 percent is bonus share and 10 percent is cash dividend (for tax purposes). This is expected to provide attractive returns to shareholders.
For the distribution of the dividend, the bank must now obtain approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and get it endorsed by the upcoming general meeting. Only after that will shareholders be able to receive the dividend.
