Share market rises by double digits, Kumari Bank records highest turnover
On Friday, the NEPSE index rose by 17.15 points to close at 2591.80. The market saw a turnover of Rs 4.80 billion, with Kumari Bank being the most traded company. Shareholders of Kuthali Bukhari Small Hydropower gained the most, while those of Ridge Line Energy suffered the biggest losses.
Kathmandu. On Friday, the share market rose by double digits. The NEPSE index increased by 17.15 points to close at 2591.80.
As the market rose, all sub-indices of NEPSE turned green. On this day, the banking group increased the most by 1.28 percent.
In the market today, share prices of 180 companies increased, while 89 decreased. On this day, 10 companies' share prices remained unchanged.
Today, the market saw a turnover of Rs 4.80 billion. The highest turnover was of Kumari Bank.
Today, shareholders of Kuthali Bukhari Small Hydropower earned the most. The company's share price increased by 4.91 percent.
In the market, on this day, shareholders of Ridge Line Energy lost the most. The company's share price decreased by 7.85 percent.
