The Securities Board of Nepal has permitted Rastriya Banijya Bank to issue debentures worth Rs 3 billion. The board today granted the bank approval to issue debentures named ‘ABBL Debenture–2089’.
The bank will now issue a total of 3 million units of debentures with a face value of Rs 1,000 each.
- 1.2 million units will be issued to the general public.
- The remaining 1.8 million units will be sold through private placement.
These are 7-year debentures. Investors will receive 6 percent annual interest. Kumari Capital is the sales manager for these debentures.
