Rajan Vikram Thapa Appointed Chairman of Nepal Insurance Authority
The government has appointed Rajan Vikram Thapa as the Chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority. The Cabinet meeting on Tuesday approved his appointment based on the recommendation of the selection committee formed by the Ministry of Finance. On Wednesday, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle administered the oath of office and secrecy to Thapa.
Kathmandu. The government has appointed Rajan Vikram Thapa as the Chairman of the Nepal Insurance Authority. The Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday appointed Thapa as Chairman based on the recommendation of the selection committee formed by the Ministry of Finance.
At a ceremony organized at the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle administered the oath of office and secrecy to Thapa. After the oath, Finance Minister Dr. Wagle gave special instructions, directing the newly appointed Chairman Thapa to work fearlessly and without hesitation to enhance the credibility of the insurance sector, according to a notice issued by the Ministry of Finance.
