Prabhu Bank Hands Over 6 Bunk Beds to Flood-Affected Shelter Pahelo Gumba
Prabhu Bank has handed over 6 double-decker bunk beds to Pahelo Gumba in Kathmandu, which is sheltering families rendered homeless by disasters. Earlier, the bank contributed NPR 21,111,111 to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund and NPR 4,080,050 collected voluntarily from its directors and employees.
Kathmandu . Prabhu Bank has handed over 6 double-decker bunk beds to Pahelo Gumba in Kathmandu, which is providing shelter to families affected by disasters.
Under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, the bank provided the bunk beds, taking into account the immediate needs of the affected families sheltering at the Gumba. The bank said it extended the support after identifying the need for bunk beds at the shelter for families left homeless by the disaster.
According to the bank, this support is expected to make living arrangements more convenient for the affected families taking relief and shelter at Pahelo Gumba.
Earlier too, Prabhu Bank had contributed NPR 21,111,111 to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund under its corporate social responsibility, with the aim of providing relief to families affected by devastating floods and left homeless.
Likewise, the bank said NPR 4,080,050 collected voluntarily by its directors and employees was also deposited into the fund.
