The meeting held at Singha Durbar focused on key priorities including innovation, technical education, and sustainable economic development.
Prime Minister Balendra Shah has begun special discussions with Gen Z Members of Parliament (MPs) regarding the nation's digital transformation and youth-centric economic policies. During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, he consulted with the new generation of public representatives on innovative agendas for good governance and prosperity.
According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the discussions primarily focused on the following areas:
- Digital governance and the effective adoption of new technologies
- Youth self-employment and conducive policies for startups and new enterprises
- Technical education and practical skill development
- Accessible healthcare services and sustainable development with environmental balance
The current government, formed following the Gen Z movement, has placed digital systems and the modernization of public service delivery as top priorities in its governance reform agenda. The government aims to expand technological access to create employment opportunities domestically.
