After being relocated to India during the COVID-19 pandemic, ‘Party Bus Nepal’ has returned home and been relaunched. Operated by Race Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the bus can accommodate up to 30 people who can enjoy music, dining, and dancing while traveling. The company has announced plans to expand services to major cities and introduce caravans and camper vans in the near future.
Kathmandu. ‘Party Bus Nepal’ has been relaunched with the goal of entertaining tourists with parties on board while touring. Operated by Race Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the party bus was formally relaunched at a special ceremony. Passengers can board the bus, travel, dine, dance, and enjoy entertainment.
This modern bus has a capacity of 30 people for partying. Upon entering, it feels like stepping into a luxurious lounge or club. It features attractive neon lights, comfortable luxury sofas, a well-equipped bar for dining, and a dance pole in the center.
Participants at the relaunch event were seen dancing inside the bus to the rhythm of songs resonating from a powerful music system and swaying in their seats, enjoying the journey. With its striking purple and black ‘nightlife’ theme, the bus became a special attraction on the road as it drove by. The bus took party participants on a circumferential ride from Durbar Marg to the Ring Road.
At the event, the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sameer Shrestha recalled that the service was first launched with a new concept of mobile entertainment targeting ‘Visit Nepal Year 2020’. He said, “When the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to halt the business, we did not shut it down but continued it by taking it to India. However, since its true identity and need are here in Nepal, we have brought it back home to support the domestic tourism industry.”
According to CEO Shrestha, the company has now put forward a new plan for service expansion. He said that caravans and camper vans will also be brought into operation, expanding services to major cities of Nepal in the near future.
The ‘Party Bus’, which offers a unique blend of excellent music, bar facilities, and dancing inside a moving bus, is expected to become a new and attractive destination for the younger generation and tourists in the Nepali tourism market once again.
