NMB Bank announces 7 percent cash dividend
NMB Bank has announced a 7 percent cash dividend for shareholders for fiscal year 2082/83. Preference shareholders will receive an 8.25 percent cash dividend. The dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the annual general meeting.
Kathmandu. NMB Bank has announced a dividend for fiscal year 2082/83. The bank's board of directors, in a meeting held on Wednesday, decided to distribute cash dividends to shareholders from the distributable profits of that fiscal year.
Accordingly, the bank has decided to distribute a cash dividend (including tax) equivalent to 7 percent of its current paid-up capital, amounting to Rs 1 arba 34 crore 99 lakh 52 thousand 888.
Similarly, the bank has also decided to distribute a cash dividend (including tax) of 8.25 percent to preference shareholders, amounting to Rs 12 crore 20 lakh 54 thousand 794.52.
The bank stated that this dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the upcoming annual general meeting.
