NIC Asia Bank provides laptops, computers and projectors to 4 community schools

Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has provided laptops, desktop computers and projectors to 4 community schools in various districts under its corporate social responsibility (CSR). The bank stated that the purpose of this support is to make students' learning easier and simpler while creating a quality educational environment.

The schools supported by the bank are as follows:

• Mahavir Secondary School, Chainpur – Dhangadhimai Municipality-9, Siraha (more than 672 students)
• Nepal Rastriya Secondary School – Thakurbaba Municipality-2, Karmala, Bardiya (more than 293 students)
• Panchayat Rajat Jayanti Basic School – Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City-19, Jabdi, Sunsari (more than 169 students)
• Birendra Public School – Sunbarshi Municipality-2, Amardaha, Morang (more than 1157 students)

At Mahavir Secondary School Chainpur, on 31 Bhadra 2083, in a special program, the bank's Lahan Circle Head Lekhraj Poudel and Lahan Branch Head Rajeshwar Shah jointly handed over one desktop computer and one projector to the school's Principal Ram Kumar Thakur.

Similarly, on the same date, at Nepal Rastriya Secondary School, the bank's Magaragadhi Branch Head Mahendra Bahadur Shahi handed over one laptop and two desktop computers to the school's Principal Kalam Bahadur Shahijyu.

Likewise, on the same date, at Panchayat Rajat Jayanti Basic School, the bank's Itahari Circle Head Bishal Ghimire and Tarahara Branch Head Sandesh Bhandari jointly handed over two laptops and three desktop computers to the school's Principal Gopikrishna Dangal.

Similarly, on 30 Bhadra 2083, in a special program held at Birendra Public School, the bank's Damak Circle Head Bhupendra Poudel handed over two laptops and two desktop computers to the school's Principal Dhan Bahadur Basnet.

The bank believes that this support provided to the schools will facilitate students' learning and help create a quality educational environment.
