Kathmandu. The stock market closed higher today. The NEPSE index rose by 11.93 points to settle at 2,624. Today, 177 companies saw their share prices increase, while only 85 companies saw their prices decline.
During the day, 13.61 million shares of 339 companies were traded, resulting in a turnover of over Rs 5.49 billion.
The companies with the highest turnover today:
- Siddhartha Bank: Rs 336.2 million
- Shivam Cement: Rs 272.6 million
- Solu Hydropower: Rs 238.4 million
The top gainers today:
- Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha: 12.43 percent
- Narayani Development Bank: 6.44 percent
- Mountain Hydro: 5.51 percent
The top loser today was Hathway Investment Company, whose investors lost 2.97 percent.
