NEPSE says - 'Problem resolved, trading will be regular', IT experts say - 'Risk has not passed'
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has announced that the technical problem at Data Hub Pvt. Ltd. has been resolved and trading will be regular from today, date 2083/6/6. However, IT experts say that although the problem has been resolved, the risk has not passed.
Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has announced that the problem seen in the system has been resolved. Issuing a notice, NEPSE has informed that the problem has been resolved.
NEPSE has also stated that trading will be regular as the technical problem seen at Data Hub Pvt. Ltd., which serves as the data center for 72 broker companies, has been resolved.
The NEPSE notice states: "We inform all concerned that since the technical problem seen at Data Hub Pvt. Ltd., which serves as the data center for the 72 trading members of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited, has been resolved, trading at NEPSE will be conducted as before from today, date 2083/6/6."
Meanwhile, IT experts have said that although the technical problem has been resolved, the risk has not passed. According to them, such problems may recur in the future, so long-term solutions and precautions are necessary.
