Kathmandu — The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) posted a double-digit gain on Thursday. The index rose by 11.77 points to close at 2629.81.
Today, shares of 356 companies — totaling 17,270,449 units — were traded for a total of Rs 5,447,313,168.
In terms of sectoral performance, all sectors except non-life insurance saw share prices increase.
Key highlights of the day:
- Nepal Lube Oil saw the highest gain, with its share price rising 12.47 percent.
- Sonapur Minerals gained 7.65 percent.
- Mid Solu Hydropower recorded the steepest decline, falling 11.58 percent.
