NEPSE Falls by 9.62 Points, 199 Companies' Share Prices Decline
Today, the NEPSE index fell by 9.62 points to close at 2,603. While 199 companies saw their share prices drop, 69 companies' shares increased. Total turnover exceeded NPR 4.65 billion.
Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower today. The NEPSE index fell by 9.62 points to settle at 2,603. Today, the share prices of 69 companies increased, while the share prices of 199 companies decreased.
During the day, shares of 363 companies were traded, with 1,10,69,074 units changing hands, resulting in a turnover of over NPR 4.65 billion.
Today, Himalayan Distillery saw the highest turnover. The company's shares worth NPR 229.9 million were traded. Similarly, Shivam Cement had a turnover of NPR 172.5 million, and Siddhartha Bank had a turnover of NPR 165.8 million.
Today, unit holders of ICFC Finance Debenture gained the most. Its unit holders earned at a rate of 9.18 percent. Investors of Sayapatri Hydropower gained 6.79 percent, and unit holders of Nepal SBI Bank Debenture gained 6.42 percent.
Today, unit holders of Citizens Super 30 lost the most. Its unit holders lost at a rate of 5.44 percent.
