Nepal Infrastructure Investment Fund to Issue Rights Shares from Kartik 9
Nepal Infrastructure Investment Fund is set to issue 33% rights shares based on its current paid-up capital, starting from Kartik 9. The company will close the books on Ashwin 30, and shareholders must apply by Mangsir 14.
Kathmandu. Nepal Infrastructure Investment Fund is going to issue rights shares to its shareholders starting from Kartik 9. The company will issue rights shares at a ratio of 3:1, i.e., 33% of its current paid-up capital of Rs 1.20 billion.
Accordingly, the company will sell a total of 4 million rights shares with a face value of Rs 100. Shareholders must apply for these shares by Mangsir 14 within office hours.
If applications are not received within the stipulated period, the company has stated that the shares will be sold and distributed in other ways as decided by the Board of Directors. The company has decided to close the books on Ashwin 30 for issuing the rights shares.
This means that only those who are founding shareholders as of before Ashwin 30 will be eligible to apply for the rights shares.
