Ncell Employees Contribute NPR 3.35 Million for Bhote Koshi Flood Victims
Employees of Ncell Axiata Limited have collectively contributed NPR 3.35 million for the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of those affected by the Bhote Koshi River flood. The amount has been deposited into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
Kathmandu. Employees of Ncell Axiata Limited have collectively contributed NPR 3.35 million to support the relief, rescue, and rehabilitation of citizens affected by the flood in the Bhote Koshi River in Rasuwa.
The receipt of the amount collected from employees, deposited into the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund, was handed over today to Minister for Communication and Information Technology Dr. Vikram Timilsina. Dilliram Shrestha, Chief Regulatory and Corporate Services Officer of Ncell Axiata Limited, handed over the amount.
The flood in the Bhote Koshi River has caused massive damage to lives, property, and physical infrastructure in various areas of Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, and Chitwan. Efforts to mobilize support from governmental and non-governmental sectors for the rescue, relief distribution, and rehabilitation of flood victims are ongoing.
Earlier, Ncell Axiata Limited had institutionally contributed NPR 10 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
