NAS-IT Completes Tech Roadshow in Switzerland, Connecting Nepali IT Companies with the International Market
The 'Nepal Tech Roadshow Switzerland 2026' was successfully held in Zurich in collaboration with NAS-IT and the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce. During the event, 17 Nepali IT companies presented their services and technology solutions, discussing opportunities for international collaboration and investment.
Kathmandu. Nepal Association for Software and IT Services Companies (NAS-IT), in collaboration with the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce (SNCC), successfully concluded the 'Nepal Tech Roadshow Switzerland 2026'.
The event, held on September 16 in Zurich, Switzerland, brought together businessmen, technology sector representatives, investors, and stakeholders from Nepal and Switzerland to discuss the potential of the Nepali IT industry and international collaboration.
The event showcased Nepal's growing ICT sector, skilled workforce, digital innovation, IT exports, and the country's capacity and expertise in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), software development, cybersecurity, cloud services, data engineering, and digital transformation.
Dipen Chapagain, President of NAS-IT, stated that the Nepali IT industry must present its capabilities in the international market and expand new business opportunities and collaborations. He mentioned that the roadshow was organized with the objective of bringing the services and technology solutions of Nepali IT companies to the global market.
During the event, the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce provided information about Nepal-Switzerland trade and technology relations and the potential for collaboration between Nepali IT companies and Swiss businesses.
At the roadshow, 17 IT companies from Nepal presented their services, expertise, and technology solutions through one-minute company pitches.
Discussions also covered the work and achievements of Nepali companies in areas including AI, cybersecurity, product development, IT services, BPO, custom web and application development, cloud infrastructure, and data engineering.
The event also discussed potential business collaborations, partnerships, investments, and opportunities for international market expansion.
NAS-IT has been organizing tech roadshows in various countries with the aim of promoting the Nepali technology industry internationally and expanding connections with the global market. The roadshow held in Switzerland was also organized as an effort to connect Nepali IT companies with possibilities for international business, investment, and collaboration.
The roadshow was organized with the support of partners and stakeholders including the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), while the Swiss Nepal Chamber of Commerce served as co-organizer.
