Mountain Energy Nepal Declares 21.05263 Percent Dividend, Book Closure on Kartik 10
Mountain Energy Nepal has announced a total dividend of 21.05263 percent for fiscal year 2082/83. The company has called its 13th Annual General Meeting on Kartik 20 and set the book closure date for Kartik 10 for dividend and AGM purposes.
Kathmandu. Mountain Energy Nepal has declared a dividend for fiscal year 2082/83. The company's board of directors, in a meeting held on Monday, decided to distribute a total dividend of 21.05263 percent of the current paid-up capital to shareholders from the profits of that fiscal year.
The proposed dividend includes 20 percent bonus shares and 1.05263 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
To approve the proposed dividend, the company has called its 13th Annual General Meeting on Kartik 20. Shareholders will receive the dividend after the meeting approves it.
For the purpose of dividend and the AGM, the company has decided to close the books on Kartik 10. This means shareholders holding shares until before Kartik 10 will be eligible to receive the company's dividend and participate in the meeting.
