Currently, the country is generally cloudy. Light to moderate rain is occurring in a few places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and in one or two places of Koshi Province.
This afternoon, the country will be generally cloudy. According to the weather forecast:
- Moderate rain/snowfall is likely in some places of the Himalayan region of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in a few places of the Himalayan region of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
- Moderate rain with thunder/lightning is likely in many places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, and in some places of the hilly region of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces.
- Moderate rain with thunder/lightning is likely in a few places of the Terai region of the country.
- Heavy rain is likely in one or two places of the Himalayan and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Similarly, tonight, the Himalayan and hilly regions of the country including Koshi Province will be generally cloudy, while the remaining Terai region will be partly cloudy.
