Lock-in period of 3.02 million shares of Chirkhwa Hydropower ending on Kartik 14
Chirkhwa Hydropower has announced that the lock-in period for 3,020,700 shares will expire on Kartik 14. These shares belong to promoters, employees, and project-affected locals. After three years from IPO allotment, these shares will become tradable in the market.
Kathmandu. The lock-in period for 3,020,700 shares of Chirkhwa Hydropower is set to expire on Kartik 14. The company issued a notice informing about this.
Among the currently locked shares, promoters hold 2.8 million shares, employees hold 16,000 shares, and project-affected locals hold 204,700 shares.
According to prevailing regulations in the Nepali capital market, shares of promoters, employees, and project-affected locals must remain locked for three years from the date of IPO allotment. Only after this period can these shares be traded in the secondary market.
With the lock-in period ending, the supply of the company's shares is expected to increase, along with liquidity, which could impact future trading.
