Last Day to Secure Siddhartha Bank's 20% Dividend
Today is the final trading day for investors to buy shares of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) and qualify for its proposed 20% dividend. The bank will hold its 25th AGM on 28th Ashwin, 2083, where it will endorse a 10% bonus share and 10% cash dividend, along with other agendas.
Kathmandu – Today marks the last opportunity for investors to purchase shares of Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) and secure the proposed dividend. The bank has scheduled its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for 28th Ashwin, 2083, at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting at 9:00 a.m.
The AGM will endorse a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83. The 482nd board meeting held on Ashwin 01 decided to distribute 10% bonus shares and 10% cash dividend (for tax purposes) from the paid-up capital. With the company's paid-up capital at Rs. 14.79 arba, the bonus shares are valued at Rs. 1.47 arba, and the cash dividend also amounts to Rs. 1.47 arba. Additionally, a 8.25% cash dividend worth Rs. 10.75 crores will be distributed for preference shares.
Other agendas include:
- Endorsing the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports for FY 2082/83.
- Appointing an auditor for the fiscal year 2083/84.
Ashwin 16 is the book closure date. Shareholders who maintained their holdings on that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend the AGM.
