Last day to secure dividends of 4 companies today, who is giving how much bonus and cash?
Today is the last day to secure dividends of Kumari Bank, Citizens Bank, Vikas Hydropower, and Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower. These companies are closing their books on Ashwin 19, meaning only shareholders who have traded on NEPSE until today will receive the proposed dividends and participate in the general meetings.
Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure dividends of Kumari Bank, Citizens Bank, Vikas Hydropower, and Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower. These companies are closing their books on Ashwin 19 (Monday) for the purpose of the general meeting and dividend distribution. Accordingly, only shareholders who have traded on NEPSE until today will receive the dividends proposed by these companies and participate in the general meetings.
Kumari Bank has proposed a cash dividend (including tax) of Rs 552,123,396.63, which is 2.1053 percent of the current paid-up capital, from the distributable amount for the last fiscal year 2082/83. To pass this proposal, the bank has decided to hold its 26th Annual General Meeting on Ashwin 28. The meeting will start at 11 AM at Silver Oak Banquet and Events on Swarnashamsher Road, Kathmandu. The meeting will also approve the annual and auditor's reports for the last fiscal year.
The same meeting will pass the consolidated financial statements including the financial statements of the bank's subsidiaries Kumari Capital and KBIL Securities for the last fiscal year. The meeting will approve the proposal related to the appointment of the auditor and determination of their remuneration for the current fiscal year 2083/84.
Citizens Bank has proposed a total dividend of 4 percent of the current paid-up capital to shareholders for the last fiscal year 2082/83. This includes 3.80 percent bonus shares and 0.20 percent cash dividend for tax purposes. To pass this proposal, the bank has decided to hold its 20th Annual General Meeting on Ashwin 28. The meeting will start at 11 AM at Amritbhog in Dillibazar, Kathmandu.
The meeting will also approve the proposal to increase the issued and paid-up capital after the distribution of bonus shares. For this, if any directive is received from regulatory bodies to amend the memorandum of association, the meeting will pass a proposal authorizing the board of directors to make necessary amendments including additions or deletions accordingly.

This includes bonus shares worth Rs 90,910,130 (10 percent) and cash dividend worth Rs 4,784,600.14 (0.5263 percent) for tax purposes. To pass this proposal, the hydropower company has decided to hold its 5th Annual General Meeting on Ashwin 29. The meeting will start at 9:30 AM at Hotel Smart Darbar in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.
The meeting will approve the proposal to increase the company's authorized, issued, and paid-up capital after the issuance of bonus shares. The meeting will pass a proposal authorizing the board of directors to make amendments to the company's regulations and memorandum of association as per any changes or suggestions from regulatory bodies. The meeting will approve the annual and auditor's reports for the last fiscal year and approve the proposal related to the appointment of the auditor and determination of their remuneration for the current fiscal year.
