Last Day to Secure Dividends from Three Companies: SHINE, SAPIL, and AHPC

Kathmandu — Today marks the last trading day for investors to secure dividends proposed by three companies: Shine Resunga Development Bank Limited (SHINE), Sarvottam Paints Industries Limited (SAPIL), and Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC). All three companies have set their book closure date on Ashwin 13, 2083, meaning shareholders must hold shares before this date to qualify for dividend payouts and attend the upcoming annual general meetings (AGMs).
Shine Resunga Development Bank (SHINE) has called its 18th AGM on 28th Ashwin, 2083, at Hotel Saffron C.K. Private Limited, Butwal, Rupandehi, starting at 11:30 AM. The AGM will endorse a 16% dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83, comprising 6% bonus shares and 10% cash dividend. Based on the paid-up capital of Rs. 5.02 Arba, the bonus shares are valued at slightly over Rs. 30.13 crore, while the cash dividend amounts to over Rs. 50.21 crore. Other agendas include endorsing the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports for FY 2079/80, and appointing an auditor for FY 2080/81.
Sarvottam Paints Industries Limited (SAPIL) will hold its 5th AGM on 25th Ashwin, 2083, at Hotel Jungle Spa Pvt. Ltd., Godawari, Attariya, Kailali, starting at 1:00 PM. The board proposed a 10% dividend for FY 2082/83, consisting of 10% bonus shares worth Rs. 3.40 crore and a cash dividend of Rs. 17,89,474 for tax purposes. The company's existing paid-up capital stands at Rs. 34 crore. Additionally, the AGM will elect/nominate four directors, including one representative from public shareholders and three from the promoter shareholders' group.
Arun Valley Hydropower Development Company Limited (AHPC) has scheduled its 29th AGM on 27th Ashwin, 2083, at Hotel Crystal Pashupati, Gaushala, Kathmandu, starting at 10:00 AM. The AGM will endorse a 5.263% dividend for FY 2082/83, comprising 5% bonus shares and 0.263% cash dividend (including tax) from the paid-up capital of Rs. 3.84 Arba. Other agendas include endorsing the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports, and appointing an auditor for FY 2083/84.
Shareholders who held shares before the book closure date of Ashwin 13, 2083 are entitled to dividend payouts and can attend the respective AGMs.
