Last Day to Secure Dividends from NIFRA, Nabil, Garima, and Reliance
Today is the final trading day to secure dividends proposed by Nepal Infrastructure Bank (NIFRA), Nabil Bank, Garima Bikas Bank, and Reliance Spinning Mills. Each company has scheduled its AGM to approve dividends and other agendas, with book closure dates set earlier this month.
Kathmandu – Today marks the last trading day to secure dividends proposed by four companies: Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA), Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL), Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL), and Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML). Shareholders must hold shares before the book closure dates to be eligible for dividend payouts and to attend the respective annual general meetings (AGMs).
Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA)
NIFRA has called its 8th AGM on Ashwin 23, 2083, at Anupam Foodland and Banquet, Battisputali, Kathmandu, starting at 9:30 AM. The AGM will endorse a 5.2632% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83. The 191st board meeting on Bhadra 14 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 21.60 Arba. The proposed cash dividend (including tax) amounts to Rs. 1,13,68,51,200. Other agendas include endorsing the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports for FY 2082/83, and appointing an auditor for FY 2083/84. The book closure date is Ashwin 14.
Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL)
Nabil Bank has called its 42nd AGM on 22nd Ashoj, 2083, at the Tribhuwan Army Office, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting at 9:30 AM. The AGM will endorse a 15.80% dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83. The 712th board meeting decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 27.05 Arba. A 5% bonus share worth Rs. 1.35 Arba and a 10.80% cash dividend worth Rs. 2.92 Arba (for tax purposes) have been proposed. Other agendas include endorsing the auditor's report and appointing an auditor for FY 2083/84. The book closure date is Ashoj 14, and the bank will remain closed for one day for distributing cash dividends on Nabil 8% Irredeemable Non-Cumulative Preference Shares.
Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL)
Garima Bikas Bank has called its 20th AGM on 26th Ashwin, 2083, at Hotel Pokhara Grande, Pokhara, Kaski, starting at 10:30 AM. The AGM will endorse a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83. The bank’s 351st Board of Directors meeting decided to distribute a 10% bonus share and 10% cash dividend, including applicable taxes, based on the bank’s current paid-up capital of Rs. 6.02 Arba. Other agendas include endorsing the auditor's report, appointing an auditor for FY 2083/84, and identifying a suitable development bank for a merger and acquisition with Garima Bikas Bank Limited. The book closure date is Ashwin 14.
Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML)
Reliance Spinning Mills has called its 32nd AGM on 22nd Ashwin, 2083, at Anupam Food Land and Banquet, Battisputali, Kathmandu, starting at 09:00 AM. The AGM will endorse a 30% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83. The company’s 422nd Board of Directors meeting decided to distribute a 30% cash dividend, including applicable taxes, amounting to Rs. 57 crore based on the company’s paid-up capital of Rs. 1.90 Arba. Other agendas include endorsing the auditor's report, appointing an auditor for FY 2083/84, and electing/nominating four directors, including one representative from the general shareholders and three representatives from the promoter shareholders’ group.
