Last chance to secure Citizens Bank dividend until Ashwin 16, book closure on Ashwin 19
Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has called its 20th Annual General Meeting on Ashwin 28. The bank has proposed a total 4 percent dividend, for which shareholders must be holding shares traded until Ashwin 16.
Kathmandu. Citizens Bank International Limited (CZBIL) has convened its 20th Annual General Meeting to pass the proposed dividend.
The bank has proposed to distribute a total 4 percent dividend to shareholders from the profits of the last fiscal year on the current paid-up capital. Of the proposed dividend, 3.8 percent is bonus shares and 0.2 percent is cash dividend for tax purposes on the bonus shares.
For the purpose of dividend and the general meeting, the bank has stated it will close the books for one day on Ashwin 19. Accordingly, shareholders holding shares traded on NEPSE until Ashwin 16 will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the general meeting.
The bank's 20th Annual General Meeting will be held on Ashwin 28, Wednesday at 11 AM at Amritbhog, Kalikasthan, Dillibazar, Kathmandu.
The following proposals will be presented at the meeting:
- Passing the dividend proposed by the Board of Directors
- Discussing the annual report for fiscal year 2082/83 and financial statements including the auditor's report
- Other necessary proposals
