Kumari Bank Limited has put 1 lakh units of founder shares on sale for the general public. The bank has offered these shares for sale so that general public investors can also purchase them.
As per the directive issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, the first right to purchase founder shares lies with existing founders, so a 35-day notice was issued for existing founder shareholders to purchase the shares. Since no applications were received from existing founder shareholders within the stipulated time, the bank has stated that a notice has been issued for interested general public investors outside the founders to purchase the shares.
Now, general public investors must apply within 35 days to the bank's share registrar Kumari Capital Limited, Kathmandu–1, Naxal, Nagpokhari, or to Kumari Bank Limited's head office at Kathmandu–2, Tangal.
