Kumari Bank Sets Book Closure for Ashoj 19, How Late Can You Buy Shares for the 2.1053% Cash Dividend?
Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) will close its books on Ashoj 19 to distribute the proposed 2.1053 percent cash dividend for fiscal year 2082/83. The bank has called its 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Ashoj 28 in Kathmandu.
Kathmandu. Kumari Bank Limited (KBL) will close its books on Ashoj 19 to distribute the proposed 2.1053 percent cash dividend for fiscal year 2082/83.
According to the book closure date, to become an eligible shareholder for the dividend, one must purchase shares by Ashoj 18 (trading day), ensure the transaction is executed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), and have the name registered in the Central Depository System (CDSC) of the Securities Board of Nepal.
The bank has called its 26th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Ashoj 28 (October 14, 2026) at Silver Oak Banquet and Events in Kathmandu at 11 AM.
The meeting will discuss and decide on the following proposals:
- Approve the financial statements for fiscal year 2082/83
- Distribute the proposed 2.1053 percent cash dividend
- Appoint an auditor, among other matters
Investors must ensure the purchase and transfer of shares before the book closure date to receive the dividend.
