Isewa Launches Campaign to Link Remittances with Daily Digital Payments
Nepal's leading digital payment service provider Isewa has launched the 'Antai Bhaye Pani Afantako Najik' campaign targeting Nepalis abroad. The campaign will facilitate sending remittances directly to Isewa accounts and connect them with daily digital payments.
Kathmandu. Isewa, Nepal's leading digital payment service provider, has launched the 'Antai Bhaye Pani Afantako Najik' (Even When Abroad, Close to Loved Ones) campaign targeting Nepalis living abroad. The campaign aims to easily connect them with their family's daily and financial needs even while staying abroad.
Under this campaign, Nepalis abroad will be informed about the facility to send remittances directly to their relatives' Isewa accounts in Nepal, as well as to raise public awareness about the proper use of remittances and the benefits of digital payments.
Currently, Isewa allows remittances to be sent directly to the Isewa accounts of relatives in Nepal through Isewa's official remittance partners from abroad. According to Isewa, family members in Nepal can use the funds received in Isewa for the following purposes:
- Payment of electricity and drinking water bills
- Payment of telephone and internet bills
- Purchase of insurance plans and payment of insurance premiums
- Payment of school fees
- Other daily digital payments
Isewa is committed to bringing ease to the lives of family members by linking remittances received from abroad with daily life payments.
Isewa believes that this campaign will play an effective role in increasing responsibility and affection towards family despite geographical distance. The main objective of this campaign is to help bring the hard-earned money of Nepali brothers and sisters abroad directly into the hands of their families through legal channels and to make daily payments from it safe and easy.
The facility to send remittances directly to Isewa accounts will help end the hassle of visiting agents or banks to withdraw cash and connect remittance amounts directly with the formal and digital economy, Isewa believes. It is also believed to support the government's policy of bringing remittances through legal channels and contribute to the expansion of digital literacy and financial access. Isewa has long been making financial transactions simple, easy, and accessible through the use of digital technology.
