However Good the Constitution May Be, the Hands That Run It Must Be Good: Prime Minister Balendra Shah
On the occasion of the 12th Constitution Day, Prime Minister Balendra Shah stated that the success of the constitution depends on the intentions of the leadership that implements it. He informed that the appointment process is being advanced on the basis of transparency and efficiency, and clarified that the government is working rapidly for the relief and rehabilitation of Bhote Koshi flood victims.
Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that however good the constitution may be, the leadership that implements and runs it must be good.
Addressing a program organized on the occasion of the 12th Constitution Day (2083 BS), he made it clear that the spirit and success of the constitution depend on the intentions of the leadership.
During his address, Prime Minister Shah remarked that the current situation is not the end of a journey but a new beginning, and stated that the government is continuously active in establishing good governance in all sectors of the state. He said the government is committed to building good governance and a transparent system in the country.
He also informed that the appointment process in every government body is being advanced on the basis of transparency and efficiency.
During his address, Prime Minister Shah expressed condolences for those who lost their lives in the recent severe flood in Bhote Koshi, and also clarified that the government is working rapidly for the relief and rehabilitation of the victims who have been left homeless.
