Gurans Laghubitta Calls Annual General Meeting for Kartik 10, to Approve 10 Percent Dividend
Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has convened its 11th Annual General Meeting on Kartik 10 in Dhankuta. The meeting will approve a total 10 percent dividend (9.5 percent bonus and 0.5 percent cash) for the last fiscal year 2082/83. The book closure for the dividend and the meeting is set for Ashoj 28.
Kathmandu — Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has convened its 11th Annual General Meeting. The meeting of the institution's Board of Directors decided to hold the AGM on Kartik 10.
The meeting will begin at 9 AM at Hile Kanjirowa Makalu Hotel in Dhankuta Municipality.
The meeting will approve a proposed total 10 percent dividend on the current paid-up capital for the last fiscal year 2082/83. This includes 9.5 percent bonus shares and 0.5 percent cash dividend for tax purposes.
The same meeting will pass a special resolution to amend the memorandum of association accordingly, as the issued and paid-up capital will increase after the distribution of bonus shares. The meeting will also approve a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to make changes as directed or suggested by regulatory bodies while amending the memorandum.
The meeting will approve the annual and auditor's reports for the last fiscal year, as well as a proposal for the appointment of an auditor and determination of their remuneration for the current fiscal year 2083/84.
The institution has decided to close the books on Ashoj 28 for the purpose of the dividend and the meeting. This means that only shareholders holding shares before Ashoj 28 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
