Gold price sees heavy decline for second consecutive day, silver also cheaper
In the Nepali market on Tuesday, the price of gold fell by 3,800 rupees per tola to 2,90,500 rupees. This is the second consecutive day of decline, following a drop of 5,000 rupees on Monday. Silver also became cheaper by 115 rupees per tola, settling at 4,395 rupees.
Kathmandu — Gold prices in the Nepali market saw a heavy decline again on Tuesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold fell by 3,800 rupees per tola today. With this, the price of gold per tola has settled at 2,90,500 rupees.
Yesterday, the price of gold had also fallen by 5,000 rupees per tola. On Monday, gold was traded at 2,94,300 rupees per tola. Thus, for the second consecutive day, there has been a significant drop in the price of gold.
Today, the price of silver also fell by 115 rupees per tola to settle at 4,395 rupees. Yesterday, silver had fallen by 155 rupees per tola and was traded at 4,510 rupees.
According to market analysts, fluctuations in gold prices in the international market and changes in the exchange rate of the Nepali rupee have influenced this decline.
