Four shortlisted for NEPSE CEO, interviews on Ashwin 23
Four candidates have been shortlisted for the vacant CEO position at the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). A committee under the Ministry of Finance will conduct interviews and presentations on Ashwin 23, after which three names will be recommended to the Council of Ministers.
Kathmandu. Four candidates have been shortlisted for appointment to the vacant post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).
The CEO Selection and Recommendation Committee, coordinated by Joint Secretary Mahesh Acharya and formed by the Ministry of Finance, shortlisted the names. Those shortlisted include Anil Raj Poudel, Nabaraj Sapkota, Narayan Prasad Sapkota, and Pratap Subedi.
The committee had called for applications for the NEPSE CEO post on Shrawan 12. By the deadline of Shrawan 26, eight people had applied. However, their names were not made public.
Now, the committee has summoned the shortlisted candidates to the Ministry of Finance for interviews and presentations on Ashwin 23.

- Nabaraj Sapkota – 8 AM
- Narayan Prasad Sapkota – 5:30 PM
- Pratap Subedi – 6:30 PM
The committee has requested the shortlisted candidates to be present at the interview venue 30 minutes before their scheduled time.
After the interviews and presentations, the committee will submit the names of three candidates from the shortlist to the Ministry. The Ministry will then recommend those names to a meeting of the Council of Ministers. The Council of Ministers will appoint one of them as the CEO of NEPSE.
Chudamani Chapagain had resigned from the post of NEPSE CEO on Asar 22 before the end of his term. He was appointed as the CEO of NEPSE by the then government on 2081 Chaitra 19.
