Four Federal Parliament committees meet today, discussions from climate finance to mining bill

Kathmandu — Four committees of the Federal Parliament are meeting today. Three committees of the House of Representatives and one joint committee will hold discussions on important issues.
According to the meeting schedule:
- Finance Committee: 2 PM — Discussion on the report of the subcommittee on the impact on the economy after the Rasuwa floods and climate finance.
- International Relations and Tourism Committee: 11:30 AM — Internal meeting on contemporary issues including the field study visit of Tribhuvan International Airport.
- Industry, Commerce and Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee: 10 AM — Theoretical discussion on the Mining and Mineral Bill, 2083.
- State Directive Principles, Policies and Responsibilities Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (Joint): 10:30 AM — Discussion with experts on the floods in the Bhote Koshi and other rivers on last Bhadra 10 and the effects of climate change.
The committees have made public the agendas of the meetings. The Finance Committee meeting will present the report on climate finance, which is expected to assess the economic impact after the Rasuwa floods.
