Kathmandu — Four bodies have been found inside the power house of the Chilime Hydropower Project. According to an engineer at the project, the four bodies were discovered during a search inside the power house on Wednesday afternoon.
The flood that entered the Bhotekoshi–Trishuli River via the Lhende Khola in Tibet on Bhadra 10 had caused massive damage to a dozen hydropower projects and power infrastructure in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, including the Chilime Hydropower Project. Since then, a search operation has been ongoing for missing staff and workers inside the project.
The identification of the bodies and further details of the incident are still pending. Security agencies and relevant authorities are proceeding with the identification of the bodies and necessary legal procedures.
