Kathmandu — Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prabhu Bank, Ashok Sherchan, has been sent to jail for trial. The Patan High Court issued an order on Tuesday to send him to prison.
The court heard four cases involving Sherchan. After the hearing, the court demanded a bail of Rs 15 million in one case, while ordering jail for trial in the others.
As a result, he will remain in custody until a final verdict is reached in the cases.
