Fire at Supreme Court's case section, important documents safe

Kathmandu. A fire broke out at the Supreme Court's case section last night due to an electrical short circuit.
According to court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the fire damaged a table, chairs, and three computers in the case section.
According to spokesperson Koirala, 'Although the fire broke out due to an electrical short circuit last night, the important case files remain safe. Since the fire occurred with the door closed, we only learned about the short circuit after the office was opened.'
After the arson on 24 Bhadra 2082, the Supreme Court has been operating from the Annex Building and the under-construction new building. Currently, the courtrooms and administration have been moved to a part of the under-construction building.
