Finance Minister Dr. Wagle and Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar discuss expanding cooperation in economic, energy, and connectivity sectors
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, currently on a visit to India, held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi. During the meeting, they discussed further strengthening Nepal-India relations and cooperation in economic, energy, and connectivity sectors. Jaishankar expressed deep sorrow over the recent devastating floods in Nepal and extended condolences to the families of the victims.
Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, who is on a visit to India, held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in New Delhi. During the meeting, they discussed further strengthening Nepal-India relations and cooperation in economic, energy, and connectivity sectors.
After the meeting, Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar expressed happiness over meeting Finance Minister Wagle through social media. He expressed deep sorrow over the recent devastating floods in Nepal and extended condolences to the families of the victims.
Jaishankar stated that they discussed further strengthening overall cooperation with Nepal. He mentioned that discussions were held particularly on expanding cooperation in economic, energy, and connectivity sectors.
Finance Minister Wagle is in New Delhi as part of a three-day official visit to India. During the visit, he also held a meeting with Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and discussed post-flood reconstruction, trade, investment, energy, and connectivity.
