Finance Minister Dr. Wagle and Indian Counterpart Sitharaman Hold Bilateral Meeting
Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, currently on a visit to India, held a bilateral meeting with Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The meeting discussed post-flood reconstruction, trade, investment, energy, connectivity, and other mutual interests.
Kathmandu. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, who is on a visit to India, held a bilateral meeting with Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
According to the Nepali Embassy in Delhi, the meeting held on Thursday evening involved extensive discussions on various aspects of Nepal-India development cooperation.
The meeting particularly focused on post-flood reconstruction, trade, investment, energy, connectivity, and other areas of mutual interest.
Likewise, both ministers also discussed further strengthening and expanding the long-standing Nepal-India economic partnership, according to the embassy.
Finance Minister Wagle, who arrived in Delhi today on a three-day official visit to India, is also scheduled to meet Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar.
