Filming of the biopic 'Ma Madan Krishna' based on the life of veteran actor Madan Krishna Shrestha began today. The production team has announced that the film will be released nationwide on Chaitra 4.
Kathmandu. Filming of the biopic 'Ma Madan Krishna' based on the life of veteran actor Madan Krishna Shrestha began today. The production team formally started shooting after performing a auspicious ceremony.
The film will be shot in Kathmandu, Panchkhal, and Panauti. The production team also announced the release date, stating that it will be released nationwide from Chaitra 4.
Director Milan Chams said the film will cover Madan Krishna Shrestha's struggles, successes, and various ups and downs of his life. Mahesh Tripathi will portray Madan Krishna Shrestha, while Keki Adhikari will play his wife Yashoda. Arun Kshetri will play Harivansh Acharya, and Varsha Raut will play Harivansh's wife.
The film will depict important events of Madan Krishna's life, including his childhood, government service, collaboration with Harivansh Acharya, and inter-caste marriage.
The film will also feature performances by Rajaraj Poudel, Kiran KC, Ramesh Budhathoki, Binod Neupane, Rusha Neupane, Yaman Shrestha, Deshbhakta Khanal, Dinesh DC, and others.
The film, presented by Vintage Motion Pictures, will be produced by Rajkumar Shrestha. Rich Entertainment will distribute the film in the Kathmandu Valley, while RR Films will handle distribution outside the Valley.
