Double-digit recovery in the share market, turnover exceeds 5 billion
On Thursday, the NEPSE index rose by about 12 points to reach 2624.36. While 177 companies saw their share prices increase, 85 companies declined, and the turnover exceeded 5 billion.
On Thursday, the share market witnessed a double-digit recovery. The NEPSE index, which had fallen by a high number the previous day, increased by about 12 points today.
When trading closed today, the NEPSE index rose by 11.93 points to reach 2624.36 points. Today, the share prices of 177 companies increased, while the share prices of 85 companies decreased. Similarly, the share prices of 16 companies remained stable.
Likewise, today the Sensitive Index also rose by 2.07 points to reach 465.75 points. Out of the 13 sub-indices in the share market today, 11 increased, while 2 decreased.
On the day the index rose, the market saw a turnover of about 5.5 billion.
