On the last trading day of the week, the NEPSE index closed higher. Today, the stock market gained 11.77 points.
At the close of trading, the index reached 2629.81 points. Today, the share prices of 176 companies increased, while those of 95 companies declined. The share prices of 7 companies remained unchanged.
Similarly, the Sensitive Index also rose by 1.55 points to reach 469.01 today.
Out of 13 sub-indices, 12 advanced today, while 1 declined.
On a day when the index rose, the turnover amount, however, fell.
