On Monday, the first trading day of the week, the Nepali share market experienced a double-digit decline. The NEPSE index, which had also closed lower last week, dropped by 16.47 points on the first day of this week, reaching 2613.33 points.
In today's trading, the share prices of most companies saw a decline.
- Shares of 223 companies declined.
- Shares of 50 companies advanced.
- Shares of 6 companies remained unchanged.
Similarly, the Sensitive Index also fell by 1.34 points to reach 467.67 points. Out of 13 sub-indices, 12 declined today, while only 1 advanced.
Today's turnover exceeded 5 billion rupees, indicating some level of activity in the market.
