Double-digit decline in NEPSE, turnover exceeds Rs 5.38 billion

Kathmandu. Today, the stock market closed with a double-digit decline. The NEPSE index fell by 16.47 points to settle at 2,613.33. Today, the share prices of 50 companies increased, while the share prices of 223 companies decreased.
During the day, 13.178 million shares of 357 companies were traded, resulting in a share transaction of over Rs 5.38 billion.
Today, the highest share transaction was of Himalayan Distillery. The company's shares worth Rs 358.2 million were traded. Similarly, Shivam Cement had a share transaction of Rs 297.8 million, and Hathway Investment had a share transaction of Rs 199.8 million.
Today, the unit holders of Laxmi Sunrise Debenture earned the most. Its unit holders earned at a rate of 15 percent. KBL Debenture unit holders earned at a rate of 12.17 percent, and Prime Bank Debenture unit holders earned at a rate of 8.83 percent.
Today, the investors of Hathway Investment lost the most. The company's investors lost at a rate of 10.58 percent.
