Data hub issue resolved, share trading resumes today
The technical problem in the data hub of 72 brokers of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has been resolved. NEPSE has stated that share trading, which was suspended on Ashoj 5, will resume from today, Ashoj 6. The Securities Board of Nepal has already directed NEPSE to submit a report with improvements.
Kathmandu. The technical problem seen in the data hub, which serves as the data center for 72 trading members (brokers) of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), has been resolved.
According to NEPSE, a serious technical problem had appeared in the data hub of those brokers since the morning of Ashoj 4. Due to this, share trading had to be suspended on Ashoj 5 (Monday).
After the technical problem was resolved, NEPSE has stated that share trading will resume as usual from today, Ashoj 6.
Meanwhile, after the problem occurred in the data hub, the Securities Board of Nepal has already directed NEPSE to submit a report with improvements explaining the reason for suspending Monday's trading. The board has also deployed its separate 5-member inspection team.
