Citizens Capital's 20th Annual General Meeting Concludes, 13% Cash Dividend Approved
The 20th Annual General Meeting of Citizens Capital Limited has approved a proposal to distribute a 13% cash dividend from the profit of FY 2082/83. The meeting also endorsed the annual report, auditor's report along with financial statements, and approved the appointment of an auditor and directors for FY 2083/84.
Kathmandu. The 20th Annual General Meeting of Citizens Capital Limited has concluded at the company's registrar office in Batuleghar, Dillibazar, Kathmandu. The meeting approved a proposal to distribute a 13% cash dividend from the profit of FY 2082/83.
Among the proposals presented for discussion at the meeting, the annual report of the Board of Directors for FY 2082/83, the auditor's report along with the balance sheet as of Ashadh end 2083, profit and loss account, cash flow statement, and other financial statements were approved. Additionally, the appointment of an auditor for FY 2083/84, determination of their remuneration, and approval of directors appointed in accordance with the company's regulations were also endorsed.
Citizens Capital Limited, operating as a subsidiary of Citizens Bank International Limited, has been conducting various capital market-related activities directly relevant to investors, including management of collective investment funds, issue and sales management of securities, investment management services, institutional advisory services, securities underwriter, share registrar, and demat accounts, with permission obtained from the Nepal Securities Board.
The company also has investments from the Employees Provident Fund and reputed industrialists and businessmen. Rajendra Lal Shrestha is the Chairman and Sabir Bade Shrestha is the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
