Citizens Bank to Sell 60,000 Units of Founder Shares
Citizens Bank is set to sell 60,000 units of founder shares. After founder shareholder Chandra Investment submitted an application to sell its shares, the bank is selling the shares only to existing founder shareholders as per Nepal Rastra Bank's directive.
Kathmandu. Citizens Bank is going to sell 60,000 units of founder shares. The bank is selling these shares after Chandra Investment, a founder shareholder of the bank, submitted an application to the bank to sell its shares.
As per the directive of Nepal Rastra Bank, the bank is selling the shares only to existing founder shareholders of the bank. Interested founder shareholders must submit an application with necessary documents to the central office of Citizens Bank at Narayanhiti within 35 days from the date of publication of the notice.
The bank has stated that if no application is received from existing founder shareholders for the purchase of shares within the stipulated time, or if the shares are not fully sold, the shares will be sold to the general public.
